MOTOZINE ZN5 officially launched in India!!!



Motorola and Kodak's ZN5 camera phone has been announced making a competitor for sony cybershot. It has stunning 5 MegaPixel camera with xenon flash, 2.4-inch TFT display with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution and 256k colors. The handset supports Wi-Fi, EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth with A2DP and USB v2.0. Memory can be expanded via microSD cards. It also comes with a TV out feature and a 3.5mm earphone socket. The handset features Motorola's CrystalTalk technology.



MOTOZINE ZN5 will be available in India from mid-September 2008 in retail stores and will come with a 2GB memory card and a TV-out cable.

World's First Mobile Phone with Built In Video Projector



I was seeing some posts about mobile phone with a projector before some months and i didnt expect that i will see the review of mobile phone with built in video projector so soon.
The handset released is named as Epoq EGP-PP01.



It is a triband GSM handset. It can project images of 30 inch diagonal size. The resolution of the projector is 640 x 480 pixels. Not only can it project images that are on the phone but DVD players or other media devices (including Laptops) with TV out features can be hooked up to the handset. The handset has 2.4 inch TFT display with 240 x 320 resolution, 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPRS & WAP, and sound recorder.




The Epoq EGP-PP01 is priced at $549.95 on GadgetCraver.

HTC unveils S740 Smartphone




HTC S740,has a Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard Edition platform with a QVGA display and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The S740 has the style of HTC's popular Touch Diamond. Even though the S740 lacks touchscreen abilities, the phone comes equipped with 7.2Mbps HSDPA 3G support for the 900 and 2100MHz frequency bands, as well as quad-band GSM/EDGE support. And like the Touch Diamond, the S740 sports a 3.2 megapixel camera, does not have the Touch Diamond's autofocus system.

The S740 features 256MB of internal storage and a whopping 256MB of application RAM. A microSD memory card slot provides extra storage room, while WiFi and Bluetooth give users extra connectivity options. A GPS (or AGPS) navigation module will be on board the S740 as well, as will an FM radio. The HTC S740 is scheduled to become available across Europe in September of this year.

Nokia launches two N series handsets!!!

We came to see some pics of N79 & N85 before some weeks and now Nokia officially launched those handsets as additions to N series range. N79 is of bar type somewhat similar to N82 and N85 is a dual slider phone like N96.

This phone is of bar form, having an S60 3rd edition feature pack 2 user interface. The phone has 5 MP autofocus camera with Carl Zeiss optics and an LED flash, with a 4GB microSD card included in the box. The handset will also come with Xpress-on smart covers that are available in five colors: Light Sea Blue, Espresso Brown, Olive Green, White and Coral Red.

This phone is a dual slider phone. This handset has been designed as another gaming device so it's more of an upgrade to the N81. It has a 2.6-inch OLED screen and smooth, sleek finish. 8 MEGA PIXEL Phone from LG


LG announced 8MP camera phone as LGKC910. This phone does not have any keypad or keyboard, it is simply a touchscreen mobile phone. It is an upgrade of LG Viewty.
It has 3 inch TFT touch screen display supporting upto 262k colours with 240 x 400 resolution. The 8MP auto-focus camera uses Schneider-Kreuznach optics and has a Xenon flash, can record video with VGA (30fps) and QVGA (120fps) quality. The camera also uses a geo-tagging feature that works in tandem with its onboard GPS receiver. With regards to connectivity the handset supports Wi-fi, 3G with HSDPA, Bluetooth with A2DP support and of course USB connectivity as well. It has codec that supports Xvid and DivX video playback and Dolby sound for music. Other features also include microSD support for external memory and a TV out feature.

LG 10000 Launched for Reliance India mobile



LG has announced the launch of LG 10000 in association with Reliance India Mobile. This phone comes with a 2.8-inch external touch sensitive LCD as well as an internal display of the same size along with a full QWERTY keyboard.

Palm Treo Pro get leaked!!!!!!



This phone runs on Windows OS platform. According to some reports, the handset will support HSDPA, Wi-Fi, microSD external memory support, infrared, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm earphone socket. It also comes equipped with a 320 x 320 pixel touch screen, built in GPS (seems like that’s becoming a pre-requisite) and comes preloaded with Adobe Reader and Telnav. Vodafone priced Iphone 3G officially!!!!



Before some weeks, Vodafone said it will release Iphone 3G in India on 22nd August. Recently Vodafone unveiled the price details.

It was stated as "The iPhone 3G is available in 8GB and 16GB at Rs 31,000 and Rs 36,100 respectively. And as you have already pre-registered with us, you can get it before others do. All you need to do is drop in at a select Vodafone Store between August 20 and 21 and confirm your booking by paying Rs 10000 through cash or credit card. Motorola introduces three ROKR handsets

Motorola introduced three ROKR handsets-
ROKR EM30 - a candybar phone using Motorola’s ModeShift technology;
ROKR EM28 - a clamshell device with sonic features and touch-sensitive keys and
ROKR EM25 - a slider with FM radio sharing capabilities.

This handset is a colorful version of E8. It uses shift technology to illuminate the keyboard, blue for number keys and red for player controls. It comes with 2MP camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM with RDS, Windows Media Player 11. Other features of EM30 are its crystal talk technology, Stereo Bluetooth, Micro SD support.

ROKR EM28

This phone is of clamshell type as you can see it from the picture. Its design allows users to control their music using touch-sensitive keys that appear only when they’re needed. It comes with 1.3MP camera, radio with RDS, 3D surround sound, one can boost up the bass upto 9 decibels. Like all the new moto handsets, this also has crystal talk technology. The handset also comes with a 3.5mm earphone socket and broadcast recording as well as an innovative FMShare feature that allows users to share FM stations by sending a text message with the details. It has 1.8 inch 65k display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels.

ROKR EM25


This is a slider phone. It has SondID Technology like in Sony Ericsson TrackId feature, Radio with RDS and FMshare, 3.5mm earphone socket, Bluetooth with an A2DP profile, microSD card support and CrystalTalk technology. The EM25 comes with a 1.3MP camera.

Samsung F480 launched in India


After hearing about the Nokia 6210 Navigator and Sony Ericsson’s Bond version of the C902, we have news about Samsung’s latest wizard – the TouchWiz F480. This phone has a widget bar on the home screen, from where you can pick and choose multiple widgets to adorn the screen. The task is made easier by allowing you to simply drag and drop icons on its 2.8 inch touchscreen.

The phone encased in a metal body with a leather cover, features a 2.8-inch TFT LCD display and has a 5.0 Megapixel camera with face detection, image stabilizer, auto focus, CMOS video lens and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR). It also includes the 'Auto Smile Shot' feature - making its worldwide debut - that enables the camera to detect when a person is smiling and automatically take a picture when in the 'Smile shot' mode.

LG's Entry-level mobile phone


LG introduced its Entry level mobile phone called LG KP106B. Its a candy bar phone having 1.5 inch LCD screen and 65k display with 128 x 128 screen resolution. This phone weighs just 63g and comes in glossy black with a 4 way metallic navigation key, 16 polyphonic ringtones and one touch FM key. This new phone allows storage of up to 300 phone numbers and 100 SMS messages and has embedded in it LG's anti-theft mobile tracker.
