The Samsung M8800 Pixon handset is the world’s slimmest full-touch 8-megapixel camera phone. The word Pixon means PICS ON. As this handset if fully focussed on imaging, this has many advanced features. They are 8 megapixel autofocus camera, anti-shake technology, face and smile detection, a dual-LED flash, and a slough of other imaging enhancements. This handset also has high video recording specs. The Pixon can record 30fps video at 720x480 resolution as well as 120fps slow-motion video at 320x240 resolution.
It is a Quad band GSM mobile, measuring 107.9mm x 54.6mm x 13.8mm. It also has an accelerometer. It has Bluetooth, an FM radio, as well as GPS support, 120 internal memory, external MicroSD card slot.
The Samsung M8800 Pixon is expected to reach the france market in mid-October, but will be sold in the rest of Europe and in Asia soon thereafter.
