Android 3.0, called as Gingerbread?

Android 3.0 Gingerbread is going to be released in the mid of October, 2010 which shall be about 15^th or the 16^th of October. The first handsets which shall be incorporated with the Android 3.0 will be started shipping in November or December.

The minimum hardware requirements of the Android 3.0 Gingerbread operating system include the 1 GHz CPU, 512 MB of RAM, and a display which should be at least 3.5 inch or higher. A new resolution support (Unconfirmed) of 1280 x 760 pixels have been incorporated and will prevail on devices which have a display of about 4 inch or higher.
