All the mobile manufacturers are trying to catch market share in all the segments in India and its known that Xiaomi got a big market share in mid range segments in a very short time. In the same time, it is also known that Xiaomi performs very badly and failed in premium segment where OnePlus rules the market. Xiaomi launched few premium smartphones which totally failed in India such as MIX & MI series. Xiaomi stopped launching the iteration of those models in India and we really thought that they are planning for something else for premium segment.

In recent times, the word POCOPHONE was rumoured around the web and yesterday, Xiaomi 'Jai Mani' launched the sub brand of Xiaomi called POCOPHONE in his twitter page.
We were also able to find the POCOPHONEINDIA twitter handle being created meaning it will be launched in India.
POCOPHONE will be a seperate brand that totally concentrates on premium segment. It will have a real time high speed performance, best camera, top end specs at an amazing price.
Current rumours says it will house SD 845 (flagship processor), 4GB RAM, 64GB Memory, Liquid cooling inside the device, Quick Charging. Below is one of the unboxing video leaked online recently.
