Mi A2 launched in India for Rs.16999 - First Impressions

Xiaomi today launched the successor of Mi A1, Mi A2 for 16999 in India. The phone is totally a good upgrade from Mi A1 and boasts about its camera capabilities.



The new Mi A2 will be powered by Snapdragon 660 processor which has equivalent performance to the 800 series. It has dual rear camera (12MP + 20MP) Sony sensor and 20MP front sensor. It flaunts 5.99 inch Full HD screen just like the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Just like Mi A1, Mi A2 will also be an 'Android One' phone which is a clean stock android paired with the right hardware to give a fluid Android experience to the user.

Pros:

+ Amazing sleek design
+ Value for money
+ Better camera and picture quality
+ Android One OS (Quicker software updates)
+ Very good performance with SD 660 processor
+ Quick Charge 4.0 support

Cons:

- Lesser battery - 3010 mAh (It is good for normal day usage)
- No Audio jack (bummer!!)
- No Expandable memory card option
- No Dual VoLTE support which is going to be a mainstream in coming years (They might provide it in future but there is no guarantee for now)
- Camera bump (which is acceptable)
